Claire tends to be a bit of a tomboy, but like any teenage girl, sometimes likes to spend time on her hair and makeup.

An interesting observation: girls who immigrate from Africa have incredibly beautiful skin and a deep, clear complexion. 

I always encourage Claire and her sisters to embrace and celebrate their African heritage and to not try to compete with white girls in America.
