When Scout was a kitten, she used to sleep in the bag that hangs from the back of Kim’s wheelchair.
Just waking up.
And when Kim wasn’t using her wheelchair, the Scout found that it was a nice place to take a nap.
Just by way of efficiency: taking a nap by your food comes in very handy if you wake up and want a midnight snack!
When we first adopted the Scout in 2008, she was too small to jump into this box. A couple weeks later, she figured it out!
“Hey you guys, I think I figured out where that smelly boot odor is coming from!”

One of the Christmas presents was a mouse (not a real one, but don’t tell the Scout)
After 9 years, we still have that mouse and every night she still hunts for that. And when she finds and “kills” it, she brings it into our bedroom as a “meal” for Kim and Bob. What a good momma cat!
This mouse used to take advantage of the Scout’s little kitten size and put up quite a fight every night. But the Scout still always seemed to win the contest!

Over the years, the Scout has learned how to deal with the cold Michigan winters! She knows just how to keep warm!
